COLUMBIA, SC –September 15, 2021 – Hanneke Counts joins a global nuclear services energy company (Company) as its Senior Director, Global Environment, Health & Safety to be responsible for establishing the Company’s EHS strategy in collaboration with the business and functional needs as well as managing the development and planning of Environmental, Health and Safety programs across the organization.
McAulay Smith recruited Counts from her role as Vice President, Global HSES at Eastman Chemical, a $8.5B company primarily involved in the chemical industry. Counts spent over 12 years with the company in various roles such as Process Improvement Engineer, Chemicals Manufacturing Division, Engineering, Environmental Affairs, Manager, HSE&S, Manager, Corporate Audit Services, Manager, HSES Special Projects, Manager, Sustainability. She earned a B.S., Mechanical Engineering and a Master of Engineering, Environmental Engineering from Clemson University.
