Akron, OH – October 24, 2022 – McAulay Smith successfully recruited John Hawkins, Jr. to be the Vice President, Distribution Support for one of the country’s largest investor-owned utilities. Hawkins was recruited from Entergy where he was the Vice President of Distribution Operations.
Hawkins brings over 21 years of experience in the Energy industry with leadership experience in roles such as Vice President, Reliability (T&D Operations) at Entergy and Vice President, Distribution Operations, Senior Director, Distribution Operations, General Manager – Reliability and Area Manager – Distribution at Florida Power & Light. He started his career with Duke Energy.
Hawkins holds a B.S. in Electrical Engineering Technology from Purdue University, an MBA from Indiana University and is a Licensed Professional Engineer for the States of Ohio and Texas.
