Newport, MI – March 21, 2022 – McAulay Smith successfully recruited Stephanie Banker from her role as Vice President, Nuclear Engineering & Support for Ameren, Callaway Energy Center, to be the new Vice President – Engineering & Technical Support for DTE Electric, a DTE Energy Company.
Stephanie brings over 30 years of industry experience derived from her 12 years at Ameren holding leadership roles in engineering, training, projects, performance improvement and security; time spent with INPO as the project manager for Industry Leadership & Development; and engineering roles (corporate) / operations roles at Shearon Harris Nuclear Plant /Senior Reactor Operator/Shift Technical Advisor at Progress Energy.
Prior to Stephanie’s industry experience, she served in the U.S. Air Force (both active and inactive reserve). She earned a B.S., Nuclear Engineering and Ph.D., Nuclear Engineering & Science from Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute and an MBA from Averett University.
